Pastor Karl E. Pike has been the Senior Pastor of Good News Baptist Church since October 2004. He and his wife, Irene, have six children, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchild.
Pastor Pike was raised in a Christian home and at a very early age trusted the Lord Jesus as his Savior. He graduated from Grand Rapids Baptist Theological Seminary having completed the Five Year Theological course. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and a Master of Ministries degree from Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin.
In 1963 he was ordained to the gospel ministry. From 1960 to 1994 he served as a Senior Pastor in six Baptist Churches, seventeen of those years at the First Baptist Church of Howard City. From 1994 to 2004 he served as the Stewardship Manager of Bibles International, the translation and publishing division of Baptist Mid-Missions.

Pastor Pike strives to be practical and is committed to expositional preaching seeking to reach the lost with the gospel and encourage the saints in their spiritual growth. He seeks to heed Paul’s challenge to Timothy “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” II Timothy 4:2
Pastor Brian Cederquist was invited to join the staff at Good News Baptist Church on March 30th, 2008 and began his ministry as Associate Pastor on May 20th, 2008.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 5 and was led to full-time ministry as a teen. Pastor Brian and his wife, Jenni, have been married since 2003 and have a son, Titus. Pastor Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Faith Baptist Bible College in 2003. He graduated from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in 2006 with a Master of Divinity degree.
He served from September 2003-May 2008 as Associate Pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Des Moines, Iowa.
Pastor Brian endeavors to imitate the Lord in his daily living and to see people come to know Christ through his testimony. He wants his ministry to reflect the command given by Christ to “go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20.
Pastor Terry B. Frazine has been visitation pastor since 2007. He and his wife Linda Frazine, RN have a daughter Susan, LPN and 2 grandsons.
Pastor Frazine graduated from Grand Rapids Baptist College (MI) in 1966 with a Bachelors of Religious Education. He graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary (MI) in 1969. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1970.

Pastor Frazine has published articles in The Baptist Bulletin Magazine and in local newspapers.
Pastor Frazine also was Volunteer Chaplain for the St. Louis Metro Police Department. He also serves churches as Pulpit Supply. He has varied experience with Pre-Marital, Marriage, Family, Criminal, Youth and Psychological Counseling.
Becky Barber has enjoyed serving as part-time secretary at Good News since 1989 and has been a member since 1978.
She and her husband, Don, have three grown children and take great pleasure in being grandparents.
Becky is involved in the AWANA program at church and helps out in other areas of ministry as needed.
